MYSORE WEEK A SUSTAINABLE PERSPECTIVE WITH MAURICIO VICTORICA

Repetition of the practice over time, discipline, and dedication are often mentioned in yoga teachings. But how do we make our practice sustainable for our bodies over a long period of time? How to practice safely without injuries and still progress in our Asana practice?
Gain insights into traditional methods as well as biodynamic techniques to navigate a long-term practice & prevent/ heal common injuries.

Mauricio started practicing yoga in 1997 under the tradition of Siddha Yoga where the main focus is meditation, and yoga philosophy from the perspective of Kashmiri Shaivism and the practice of Namasankeerthanam (repetition of sacred chants). There he explored being part of an ensemble of the traditional meaning of Bhajan, and kirtan. In 2005 he started traveling to India for long periods, to practice with his teachers at KPJAYI in Mysore and Rolf Naukojat in Goa. Mauricio has shared the practice of Ashtanga yoga in more than 15 countries. Since 2009, he has run some permanent Mysore programs in Vienna, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Mexico.
