INTRODUCTION TO MINDFULNESS

In a fast-paced world where urgency is a constant and external input is endless, we enlarge our inside noise and it is easy to feel lost, overwhelmed, and disconnected. Mindfulness is a practice that aims to develop a heightened awareness of the here and now, leading to a better understanding of oneself and reducing stress and anxiety. Mindfulness is often used to improve mental well-being, increase concentration, and promote emotional resilience.

Mindfulness meditation involves focusing your mind on the present moment, being fully aware of your thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment without judgment. It emphasizes acknowledging and accepting your experiences as they arise, cultivating a sense of calm, clarity, and non-reactivity.

A four-class course designed to introduce you to the practice of mindfulness meditation. Learn practical techniques to create more mental space in your busy mind with loving and mindful awareness in your daily experiences.
